The Phoenix Field neighborhood in Fair Oaks is one of Fair Oaks’ finest. With nearly 500 homes, it is big enough to have its own distinct character and small enough for a sense of community. The homes feature contemporary design with high ceilings and are adorned by mature landscaping.
The community of Phoenix Field was built on the former Phoenix Field airstrip - home of the Phoenix Flying Club. Private planes would taxi in and out of Fair Oaks on its landing strip from the mid 1940s through the 1980s, when the neighborhood was developed.
Phoenix Park is a multi-purpose park featuring soccer and baseball fields, playground, picnic areas, community garden, and a very popular dog park. Gorgeous vernal pools line the edge of the park, turning it into a fascinating natural area for all to enjoy.
